The North Helford River – 10K Guided Walk

Book your spot on this beautiful 10k guided nature and history walk exploring the North Helford in the south-west of Cornwall. Featuring the Helford River, Mawnan Parish and Durgan. Your passionate and qualified walking guide will take you on a walking adventure exploring the local area’s footpaths, history and nature.

Pack your swimming costumes for an optional dip en-route: sea conditions permitting.

Walk Start Time 9.30am (please aim to arrive 15 mins early)
Terrain Parish footpaths, woodlands, shingles beaches, open fields, narrow & wide coast path.
Total Elevation 365m (difficulty: moderate)
Distance ~ 10km
Gentle Pace Length up to < 6 hours : each group is different but know our walks allow you time to appreciate the landscape, listen to Cornish history and connect with nature.
Optional Sea Swim (depending on conditions) Maenporth Beach, Bream Cove, Porth Saxon, Grebe Beach, Durgan Hamlet.

Please note a minimum of 3 attendees is needed for this guided walk in Cornwall with Cornish Explorers to go ahead. Itinerary & further details will be emailed after purchase. Your guide is a qualified Lowland Leader & Outdoor First Aider.
